1671　nautilus14（「Dubliners」 of the Dubliner as a Dubliner） 　打ち寄せる敷浪は、問として命令になるまでに圧縮された夢と、解としてこの世のものになるまでに解凍する夢と、種として予定調和的に膨れ上がる夢とが重なって、振動、うら疾しく迫る。 　the portrait of the Artist as youngは、「an actuality of the possible as a possible 」の解であるように、「Dubliners 」も、問として命令になるまでに圧縮された夢(the Dubliner)が、解としてこの世のものになるまでに解凍する夢(a Dubliner)となって出現する、その現実性が、種として予定調和的に膨れ上がる夢(「Dubliners 」)となって打ち寄せるのである。 　「モナリザ」のような肖像である「Dubliners 」は、「Dubliners 」を訪れる人々や何度ものぞきに戻らないではいない者を映し出す鏡でもあるが、その鏡像は「Dubliners 」の仮面となって入れ替わって種としての「Dubliners 」が打ち寄せる海のように膨れ上がる。 　the Artistやthe Dublinerは、the possibleの解でもあるし、従っていつの間にか、a possibleの解でもある。この解の二重性が、全体が個虫の振りをする再発の、その鸚鵡貝の目がモナリザの目となって臨在する「禁止と誘惑の図式」である。
